What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites install on the user’s device when they browse their pages. They are used to store and retrieve information about browsing and may be used to recognize the user and improve the service provided.
Which cookies we use
The hicari.io website uses its own cookies and, only with your permission, third-party cookies. We group them into three categories, which you can accept or reject separately:
- Necessary: they make the site work and keep your cookie choice and what you close on the site, such as the discount bar. Always on.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures page views and form submissions so we can improve the site. Only with your permission.
- Advertising: we remember which campaign or ad brought you here (UTM parameters and click ids) to attribute your sign-up, and Google may use it to measure its ads. Only with your permission.
If you play a YouTube video, the YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads and may store its own cookies; nothing from YouTube loads before you press play.

Accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit, we show a notice with three buttons of equal weight: “Accept”, “Reject” and “Settings”. Analytics and advertising cookies are only turned on if you accept them; if you reject them, the site works just the same.
We keep your choice for 12 months (hic_consent cookie) and you can change it at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your permission, we stop measuring from that moment; to delete the cookies already stored, use your browser settings.
How to modify cookie settings
The user can restrict, block, or delete HICARI cookies or any other website cookies using their browser. In each browser, the procedure is different; the “Help” function will show you how to do it:
