Content policy: videos and packs
Last updated: 17 August 2026.
This policy governs the conditions associated with the contracting, delivery and use of audiovisual content (hereinafter, “the Content”) through the HICARI platform, including individual videos, packs and campaigns.
1. Definitions
The purchase of each product will be made through the purchase and top-up of balance on the HICARI platform.
- Individual videos: audiovisual content commissioned on a one-off basis through a single brief.
- Packs: a set of several videos purchased in a single transaction, with grouped conditions. Processing a briefing (content request) involves the purchase and assignment of one (1) individual piece of content, meaning the remainder of the package will remain as outstanding balance.
- Public requests & campaigns: where one or more creators may be selected to deliver content to the brand and publish it on their social media.
2. Content delivery for public or private requests
2.1 Delivery times. Delivery deadlines depend on the type of service:
- Individual videos: as specified in the brief.
- Packs: as specified in the brief.
- Campaigns: as specified in the brief.
2.2 Delivery may be delayed if the client fails to respond or provide approval.
2.3 Format and access. The content is delivered digitally through the HICARI user dashboard. The client may access the files once they have been approved.
3. Balance and validity
3.1 Extra balance per plan. All packs and campaigns include an incentive in the form of extra, non-refundable balance within the platform. See ‘Top up balance’ within the platform to view the current plans.
3.2 This balance may only be used within the platform to request new videos. It may be carried over to other months or top-ups and will be treated as normal platform balance.
3.3 Expiry of unused balance. Any unused balance will expire 12 calendar months from the purchase date. Once this period has elapsed, the outstanding balance will be deleted without entitlement to a refund.
3.4 Extra balance may not be withdrawn from the platform.
4. Intellectual property and use of the content
4.1 Assignment of rights. Delivered content is subject to the rights assignment signed by the creators and brands. The client acquires a commercial right of use, unless another type of assignment has been expressly agreed. See the [Terms]
5. Review and modification
5.1 Permitted changes. For individual videos, packs and campaigns: one (1) single round of minor changes is permitted. Requests for changes that substantially alter the initial brief will not be considered valid.
5.2 If the brand wishes to request an additional revision, it may do so at an extra cost proportional to the creator’s level.
6. Cancellations and refunds
6.1 Once payment has been made (following a content request or a balance top-up), cancellations are not accepted, as the service and expenses incurred by HICARI are deemed to have commenced. See the [Refund Policy] for specific conditions.
6.2 Partial refunds may be requested within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the purchase date. If a refund is requested within this period, 20% of the total purchase amount will be deducted as management and administration fees. The client will receive the remaining 80%.
6.3 To request a change or refund for any campaign contracted through our platform, you must first contact the HICARI team. Once 30 days have elapsed, HICARI reserves the right to reject any refund.
6.4 The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase. Please note that changes or refunds may only be processed in the same country or region where the purchase was made. If HICARI is required to make an international transfer, the resulting costs will be borne by the client.
7. Rejected content or breaches
7.1 If the delivered content clearly fails to comply with the brief or contains technical defects, HICARI may review it at no additional cost. The client must notify HICARI within a maximum of seven (7) calendar days of delivery.
