1. Be clear about your goal and audience. Knowing who you’re speaking to is key.
2. Know whether your audience consumes short or long videos, so you can decide whether you should make vertical videos (YouTube Shorts) or standard horizontal ones.
3. Define what type of video you need: informative, how-to, entertainment, or sales videos are the most common. Always related to your product/service or your category, even if you don’t talk directly about your product.
4. Give instructions to the content creator and give them creative freedom, following your company’s and brand’s communication guidelines.
